Seek knowledge whenever and wherever possible!

You see the image at the top of the page. That’s me. I read where I feel comfortable. You know where that is, right? I try to read whenever and wherever possible.
Sometimes I am at the airport waiting for my flight, I go to a book and newspaper stand. I can’t find anything interesting to read. Besides, some of the books and magazines are so very expensive.
So I look around, find an empty chair, usually by the window, take my Kindle: Amazon’s Wireless Reading Device out, turn it on and start reading whatever book or paper I have downloaded for the day.
Besides books, I usually download newspapers such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post; sometimes magazines including TIME and Forbes – all auto-delivered wirelessly, seamlessly and without any effort on my part.
You can find so many other things in Kindle Store by Amazon. Go ahead try them.
If you find that they are out of Kindle – because the demand is so great – come back here and try again.
Recently, I went on a business trip to New York city. On the subway, some people were reading newspaper, I had my Kindle out and got busy reading.
Buy it for yourself or it can be a great gift to family and friends.
Amazon Kindle features are described in the user’s manual. I found them exactly the way the manual said they were. Some of the features include:
- provides a sharp, high-resolution screen that looks and reads like real paper.
- Simple to use: no computer, no cables, no syncing.
- Wireless connectivity enables you to shop the Kindle Store directly from your Kindle – whether you are in the back of a taxi, at the airport, or in bed.
- Buy a book and it is auto-delivered wirelessly in less than one minute.
- More than 190,000 books available, including more than 105 of 112 current New York Times Best Sellers.
- Lighter and thinner than a typical paperback; weighs only 10.3 ounces.
- Holds over 200 titles.
- Long battery life. Leave wireless on and recharge approximately every other day. Turn wireless off and read for a week or more before recharging. Fully recharges in 2 hours.
